The 2nd national event on Energy Efficiency Financing Tools in Greece took place yesterday in Athens within the framework of the “Smart Finance for Smart Buildings” which is a European Commission initiative, organised by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME). The discussion focus was on three thematic areas:
(1) The creation of a One-Stop-Shop (OSS) for building renovation.
(2) Financing energy upgrades of Public buildings and street lighting.
(3) Derisking energy efficiency investments in commercial buildings.
INZEB was among the invited stakeholders and contributed with presentations in two sessions. Within the 1st session, Alice Corovessipresented the H2020 iBRoad project and how its outcomes could support the development of a One-Stop-Shop for building renovation in Greece, either is a local or in a national level, while at the 3rd session, Yannis Daskalakis presented the outcomes and key findings of the EU funded RenoValue project and what the role of valuation could be informing the energy efficiency market
