During the last two weeks, we have had the chance to host in our offices, Astrobank’s Property Valuation Department’s principals, in a training seminar concerning the valuation process and procedures in Greece. The scope of the seminar, was to train the bank’s valuers in all the aspects related to the valuation procedures in our country, from the point of valuation instructions to the final point of providing the report to the client. During this training, we have had the chance to analyze our country’s special conditions when it comes to urban planning, illegal constructions and authorization laws and process, as long as the scarcity of comparable data of recent transactions, which in turn leads to the significance of the choice of the right consultant/ surveyor, as a key part of the investment and portfolio management procedures.
